One dead and two seriously injured after crash on East Tennessee Street

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A woman was killed and two children were seriously injured in a crash Monday morning in east Tallahassee, Tallahassee police said.

Police said the crash happened just before 9 a.m. at East Tennessee Street and North Franklin Boulevard.

A pickup truck was traveling east on East Tennessee Street when police say it lost control, crossed the median and struck a sedan traveling west on East Tennessee Street.

The woman in the sedan died from her injuries, according to TPD. Two children who were also in the sedan were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the pickup was treated at the scene, the TPD news release said.
