Son, 26, arrested after allegedly attacking father with knife in Pearl City

PEARL CITY(HawaiiNewsNow) – A 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly attacking his 61-year-old father with a knife in Pearl City, Honolulu police said.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. at 1060 Kamehameha Highway, the address of Century Park Plaza.

Authorities said the victim suffered multiple lacerations and was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

The suspect is still in custody pending the investigation.

The cause of the attack is currently unclear.

An investigation into attempted murder is underway.
