Danbury police looking for driver after moped crash

DANBURY, Conn. (WFSB) – Police are looking for the driver involved in a moped accident on November 2.

Danbury Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a moped at 8:46 p.m. on Padanaram Road.

The moped driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Danbury Hospital Emergency Room for treatment.

In the aftermath of the accident, Padanaram Road was closed in both directions for several hours so that the police accident investigation team could investigate the accident scene.

The Accident Investigation Team is seeking information about a dark-colored two-door Jeep Wrangler that may have been involved in the incident.

In addition, the police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has information about the car to come forward.
