Man found dead near Glendale neighborhood; homicide detectives on scene

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) – Glendale Police detectives are trying to determine what led to a man being found dead early Monday in an area near several homes.

Details are limited, but officers tell Arizona’s family the body was found nearby 57th and Peoria Avenue around 7:30 a.m. after someone reported a man lying in a grassy area.

Police arrived and determined the man was dead. Homicide detectives arrived on the scene shortly afterwards, but details about the man, including his name, have not yet been released.

Detectives are currently working to determine the man’s cause of death. It is unclear whether police are currently looking for a suspect.
