Melania Trump turns down tea with Jill Biden due to controversial reason…

Melania Trump has chosen to skip the traditional White House meeting with First Lady Jill Biden, breaking a long-standing practice as her husband, Donald Trump, eyes a return to power. It was initially thought to be a scheduling conflict related to her recently released memoir, but it turns out there is a deeper reason.

Citing the FBI’s controversial raid on Mar-a-Lago, which President Biden authorized during the investigation into classified documents, a source told the NY Post that Melania is no longer interested in meeting with the Bidens.

Melania Trump passes tea with Jill Biden

Melania, who stayed out of the spotlight throughout the Trump 2024 campaign, is still in no mood to be in the spotlight even when Trump returns to the White House. According to reports Jill Biden extended the usual invitation to meet the incoming first lady, but Melania “isn’t going,” a person close to the new author revealed.

The insider labeled Bidens ‘disgusting’ and further revealed: “Jill Biden’s husband gave the FBI permission to rummage through her underwear drawer,” according to The Post. They continued: Jill Biden is not someone the “incoming first lady would like to meet,” even for usual business.

Meanwhile, as part of the tradition of a smooth transition of power, President-elect Donald Trump will meet with President Biden in the Oval Office on Wednesday for a traditional post-election meeting.

When Trump broke tradition in 2020

Melania is not the only one breaking the long-standing tradition. After Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election, he chose not to invite the Bidens to the White House before the transfer of power. Melania, on the other hand, visited the White House and was given a tour by the then first lady Michelle Obama after Trump’s victory in 2016.

As for Jill Biden, The Mail reports that the two women have not spoken since the election. The last time they were together was almost a year ago at Rosalynn Carter’s funeral.

Melania accused the US government of ‘invading her privacy’

In her memoir, mother-of-one Melania openly criticized the US government for blatantly violating her privacy. In September, she teased her book by releasing a video that combined images of Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate with the text of the Fourth Amendment. In the video, Melania expressed her shock and outrage over the 2022 FBI raid on her Florida home, saying, “I never thought the government here in America would invade my privacy.” She continued, “The FBI raided my home in Florida and searched my personal belongings.

The Fourth Amendment says: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be infringed.”
