Amber Alert issued for missing girl officers reportedly kidnapped in Jefferson County, Ohio

Eyewitness News has learned that Oaklyn Alexander has been found.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Jefferson County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office has issued an Amber Alert for a missing seven-year-old girl who they believe was kidnapped in Empire, Ohio.

Officers said Oaklyn Alexander was kidnapped from a relative’s home by Charles Alexander on Monday around 3 p.m.

Officers said Alexander got into an argument with a family member and then left, taking Oaklyn with him.

Officers said Alexander does not have custody and they are concerned for the child’s safety.

Oaklyn is described as a white female, 4 feet tall and 55 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a gray Edison hoodie, black pants and white shoes.

Charles Alexander is described as a 43-year-old white male, 6 feet tall and 205 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and jeans.

Deputies said the two are now in a white 26-foot U-Haul Truck/Ford F650 with Arizona license plate AL74169. The truck identification number is JH1690E.

Anyone with information about Alexander or Oaklyn should call 911.
