Director Srikanth Odela recently addressed the issue of movie content leakage on social media platform Nani. Certain news outlets prematurely announced the film’s title before it was officially announced.

Odela expressed concern over the unfair treatment often directed towards assistant directors and writers when such leaks occur, stressing that they should not be scapegoated.

“To whom it may concern, not just when it comes to my film, assistant directors or writers are blamed when something leaks from an upcoming film. These people are the creators of the future, and their selfless contribution to cinema deserves the utmost respect. Change the habit of blaming the real, hardworking film units and learn to admit your greed,” he wrote.

Said in a sharp remark Odela said, “I know the motherfucker who leaked my title, and they’re not on my team,” emphasizing his frustration over the source of the leak.

This statement comes amid speculation that Odela’s reaction may be related to a recent leak from the film Kannappa involving a still of actor Prabhas.

On the work front, Odela is once again working with Nani after the success of their previous collaboration. Dasara. Their new film, The Paradise, is a violent action drama set in 1980s Secunderabad. Details about Nani’s character are still under wraps.

Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer of the film. The film is being made under SLV Cinemas. The team plans to bring Anirudh Ravichander on board to compose the music for the film. Nothing has been confirmed yet. If Anirudh comes on board, it will be great for the entire project. The team is busy with production work.
