Bossier City woman is missing; Silver alert issued by LSP

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A 68-year-old Bossier City woman has gone missing.

Now, Louisiana State Police on behalf of the Bossier City Police Department have issued a Silver Alert for Ruby Williams, who was last seen around 10:40 a.m. Monday (Nov. 11) at a law office in the 3900 block of Airline Drive in Bossier City.

She is 6 feet tall, weighs about 200 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. Williams may be wearing a brown wig.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt, a sleeveless leopard coat over a black jacket with green and red stripes at the wrist, black pants and white shoes.

Williams is believed to be traveling on foot in an unknown direction.

Authorities said she suffers from a medical condition that affects her judgment and has a documented history of getting lost.

LSP received the request to issue the Silver Alert on Monday around 7:24 PM.

Authorities urge anyone with any information about Williams to immediately call Bossier City police at (318) 741-8977 or contact local law enforcement by dialing 911.
