18 indicted Monday by grand jury; The charges range from meth to rape, etc.

Nov. 8 – Eighteen people have been indicted in ongoing cases before the Cumberland County Grand Jury on Monday.

The charges the panel investigated ranged from rape and menacing to possession of fentanyl and meth.

All defendants, unless otherwise directed by their attorneys or the court, are scheduled to appear before Criminal Court Judge Sean Fry for arraignment on November 19 at 9 a.m.

Methamphetamine

—James Don Cumby, suspected possession of meth on December 4, 2023, and investigated by Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies John Coley and Perrianna Evans. Also, possession of more than 0.26 grams of meth for sale and/or delivery, alleged on Jan. 9 and investigated by CCSO investigators Lucas Turner and Jon Wirey, deputies Dustin Jackson and Mitchell Ward and Crossville Police Det. Koby Wilson.

—David Wayne Hurst, possession of more than 0.26 grams of meth for sale and/or delivery, alleged on June 16 and investigated by CPD Officers Shade Foster and Corey Freeman.

—Karen Nichole Hurst, possession of more than 0.26 grams of meth for sale and/or delivery, allegedly on June 16 and investigated by CPD Officers Shade Foster and Corey Freeman.

—Addison Paige Woody, possession of more than 0.5 grams of fentanyl/ANPP for sale and/or delivery and possession of more than 0.5 grams of meth for sale and/or delivery, alleged on May 23 and investigated by CCSO investigators Jacob Moore, Lucas Turner and Jon Wirey, Deputies Dustin Jackson, Shane Henderson and Tyler Leary and CPD Det. Koby Wilson.

Burglary/theft

—James Don Cumby, auto burglary, theft of property up to $1,000 (EBT, food stamps and credit/debit card) and violation of a restraining order, alleged on June 23, and investigated by CPD Sgts. Josh Mangas and Keith Sadula and former officer Ethan Wilson.

–Brandi Lynn Hubbard, burglary and theft of property valued over $2,500 (ammunition and shell casings), believed to have occurred from November 29, 2023 through January 29, 2024, and investigated by CCSO investigators Jon Human and Mitchell Ward and CPD Det. Tim Vandever and Lieutenant Dustin Lester.

—Jasmine Ratisha Lewis, alleged identity theft on Feb. 23 and investigated by CCSO Investigator Gary Green.

—Tyrell Anthony Mastropaolo Jr., theft of property up to $1,000 (electric ratchet from Rural King), alleged on April 13 and investigated by CPD Officer Jeremy Beard.

–Virgil Wayne Young, theft of property valued over $1,000 (Rural King merchandise), believed to have occurred on February 21, 2023, and investigated by CPD Det. Tim Vandever. Also, theft of property valued over $1,000 (Lowe’s merchandise), believed to have occurred on November 25, 2021, and investigated by CPD Officer Samantha Seay. And theft of property valued over $1,000 (Lowe’s merchandise), believed to have occurred on November 24, 2021, and investigated by CPD Officer Samantha Seay.

To attack

—Jacob Daniel Conley, supersedes charges of rape and sexual assault by an authority figure (presumed victim 17 years old at the time) alleged on July 14, 2023, and investigated by former CCSO investigator Tom Howard, investigator Bobby Moore and Deputy Joshua Alderman.

–Frank Henry Quince, aggravated assault, alleged on August 25 (knife) and investigated by CPD Lt. Jonathan O’Neal and Officers Haylee Osmun and Samantha Seay.

—Catherine Demar Stinnett, two counts of reckless endangerment (allegedly firing a gun at a neighbor’s house), possession of a weapon while intoxicated (.410 shotgun), two counts of assault on a first responder (medical personnel), and resisting arrest, alleged on November 11, 2023, and investigated by CCSO deputies Tristin Partridge and Logan Frady.

—Alexander Prady Vasquez, aggravated assault (.9mm pistol), alleged on July 26 and investigated by CPD Lieutenant Jonathan O’Neal, CPD Officers Jacob Zimmerman and Keyton Harthun, CCSO Investigator Jon Wirey and Deputy Brent Griffin.

—Miosotis Ameiddys Sabourin, assault (bodily injury), alleged on July 26 and investigated by CPD Lieutenant Jonathan O’Neal, CPD Officers Jacob Zimmerman and Keyton Harthun, CCSO Investigator Jon Wirey and Deputy Brent Griffin.

DUI/driving violations

– Logan Michael Dishman, driving under the influence, per se (blood/alcohol believed to be of 0.08% or greater), and civil charge of violation of the Implied Consent Act, alleged on February 2 and investigated by CPD Officers Jeremy Beard and Shade Voeden .

—Craig Douglas Goss, driving under the influence, per se, believed to have occurred on November 1, 2023, and investigated by CCSO deputies John Coley, Caleb Charles and Dustin Jackson.

—Jason Edward Lallo, driving under the influence, per se, believed to have occurred on December 25, 2023, and investigated by CPD Officers Corey Freeman and Steven McNeal.

—Christopher Dean Thomas, fifth offense DUI, per se, and second offense driving with a revoked license, alleged on December 4, 2019 (superseding the charge), and investigated by CPD Sgt. Keith Sadula.
