Internet reacts as ‘shocked’ husband seeks help after wife files for divorce over Trump vote; ‘How do I solve this?’

Last week, the election results came much earlier than expected, and Trump won a much larger majority than predicted by the polls. Meanwhile, the divorce papers came in quite quickly American. “I voted for Trump, my wife sent me divorce papers. What should I do? I didn’t even know it was possible to receive divorce papers so quickly,” he wrote.

At a loss for words, the man said, “I’m shocked that I married someone who is willing to throw away our entire lives because of politics. Last week we were happy, today we are getting divorced.”

The man further said that his wife is not willing to engage with him as she has made it clear that “nothing will change her mind.”

“She’s going to report it to my parents because they’re living on disability, but my dad does some car repair work, so now I’m worried about my family,” he noted.

He further claimed that “she wants me to buy her out of the house,” emphasizing that “we have put $300,000 into it and built a four bay garage since we bought it three years ago. I can’t afford that.”

The man sought help from others on X to guide him through the situation, the man said. His wife’s name is on the deed, but not on the mortgage.

“I think you’ll finally really know what it feels like to be fucked by a Democrat,” his wife told him when explaining his condition to him.
