Fatal semi-truck crash under investigation near I-10 and 51st Avenue

PHOENIX – Police are investigating a fatal crash near Interstate 10 and 51st Avenue.

On Monday evening, the emergency services arrived on the scene following an accident between a truck and a passenger car.

ABC15 crews who responded to the scene overnight confirmed that one person, the man driving the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

What led to the crash is still under investigation.

Traffic restrictions are still in effect early Tuesday morning, with both I-10 on and off ramps closed. The 51st Avenue overpass is also closed.
