Joe Rogan appears to ‘burst into tears’ during podcast: ‘No one took it’

Joe Rogan had an emotional moment when he recently spoke with fellow comedian Theon Von about their friendship on his podcast.

The powerful podcaster welcomed Von to his popular show, The Joe Rogan Experiencewhere the two COVID-19 vaccines came into question.

‘I’ve never used it. And guess what? “I’m doing great,” Von said, before adding that he lives with back pain and “suffers from depression.”

“You’re suffering from depression because you don’t hang out with us,” Rogan from Texas responded. “Come hang out here for a while, man. Come move.’

“Bro, if you lived in the city you’d hang out all the time. You would feel better,” said the first. Fear factor host told Von. “You need a little community. I know you, dude, you’re getting weird. If you’re alone for too long, you become weird.’

“I spend a lot of time alone,” Von admitted, as Rogan shared, “You called to see if people still like you.”

“Did I really do that?” Von asked, to which Rogan responded with a laugh, “One time you did that. I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ “Yeah man, I just wanted to make sure we’re cool.” ‘Of course we’re cool. What are you talking about?’ Nothing, we just haven’t talked for a while.”

Von sounded shocked by the revelation, but added that he believed Rogan “100 percent.”

‘It was a strange conversation’ Rogan said. “But I know you, man. So when you call me, I think, ‘Oh, Theo just needs some love. You know, you’re out there alone in the woods.’

Rogan then seemed to become particularly emotional as he told Von with a deep sigh and a shaking voice, “(You) can’t be alone, man.”

The heartfelt moment sparked a discussion among YouTube users, one of whom wrote: “Rogan cried for a moment and no one caught it. That was a loving moment to see between two brothers. We need to love each other more.”

“I love that Joe is a true friend and that he quickly figures out how to get Theo to relax and speak comfortably and confidently. Good guys,” read another comment on the streaming platform. “I love their respect for each other.”

“The best part is that Joe reminds Theo to hang out with the boys!” another stated.
“He knows how important that is!”

“I recognized (Von’s) energy and loved that Joe noticed it right away,” said another viewer. “He also knows exactly how much community interests matter. I’m glad that authenticity seems to be on the rise in general lately.”

For his part, Von tried to explain his reasons for loneliness, telling Rogan, “I think, part of me, I always just wanted to do my own thing, you know. But then you start to realize that… .You do it yourself.

“And I think that’s true whether it’s work relationships or personal relationships… I think it’s the same psychology for me.”

“I think to myself, I want to be in a relationship, but I want to do it alone,” Von added, prompting raucous laughter from host Rogan.

“You can marry yourself, that’s what people do,” Rogan suggested.

“Oh, I’d hate that, dude,” Von replied, joking about chasing himself for affection.
