Cambridgeshire pedophile who filmed abuse jailed for 13 years

A pedophile has been jailed for 13 years after sexually assaulting a girl and recording the abuse.

Lee Rider, from Biggleswade in Bedfordshire, had “lives torn apart” as a result of his frequent and persistent abuse in Cambridgeshire.

Rider abused his victim for five years, forcing her to perform sex acts on him and sometimes filming his actions, telling the girl it would “help his mental health.”

The 48-year-old, from Oak Crescent, admitted 12 offenses including raping a child under 13, inciting or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and making indecent images of children.
