Fmr. delegate announces bid for Va attorney general. by 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Former Rep. Jay Jones has announced his bid for Virginia Attorney General in 2025.

Jones launched his campaign for the Democratic nomination for the Commonwealth’s top prosecutor on Tuesday in Richmond.

“As Attorney General of Virginia, my top priority will always be the safety and freedom of Virginia families,” said Jones.

He will be confronted Henrico Commonwealth’s Attorney Shannon Taylor during the Virginia primaries on June 17.
