Police: Ballston Spa man had meth

A Ballston Spa man is charged with possession of meth.

Alexander G. Connell, 38, was stopped for speeding on Washington Street in Saratoga Springs on Nov. 9 around 8:50 p.m., according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Connell had methamphetamine. He is also said to have been driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Connell was charged with one misdemeanor and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as criminal use of drug paraphernalia and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was arraigned in Milton Town Court and booked into the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
