Vehicle submerged in residential pool in Dunn sends person to hospital after crash

One person was taken to hospital on Monday after being found submerged in a car following an accident.

Dunn Emergency Services responded to a car accident involving a car that ended up in a residential swimming pool.

When units arrived, they found the car partially submerged, with bystanders trying to help the person inside.

An investigation revealed that the crash occurred at an intersection, causing one vehicle to lose control and crash through a fence before crashing into the pool.

The person was transported to hospital.
