One was slightly injured in a two-car crash

WOOD COUNTY, W.Va. (WTAP) – Multiple agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash on US 50 at the I-77 intersection.

The call came in at 2:44 p.m. for a white Cadillac coming off the I-77 Northbound exit when the female driver ran a red light and struck a gray Toyota RAV4.

The woman in the Cadillac suffered minor injuries and the people in the Toyota were unharmed.

One eastbound lane was closed for a short time.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Eastwood Volunteer Fire Department and Camden Clark Ambulance Service all responded to the scene.
