New York man killed in CT crash

NORWALK, CT (WFSB) – A Bronx man was killed in a crash in Connecticut on Tuesday.

State police identified the man as Tiofilo Cruz, 63, of New York.

Troopers said Cruz was driving on Interstate 95 near Exit 16 in Norwalk around 3:40 p.m.

They said Cruz left the right lane and struck a concrete barrier in the right shoulder. The vehicle, a Nissan Altima, landed on its roof.

Cruz was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone who saw anything was asked to contact state police.
