Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa has a message for the Duke fans who make fun of his mustache

Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats made the trip to Atlanta to take on the #6 Duke Blue Devils and earned the huge 77-72 win. This was the first major victory of the papal era. This win proved what Kentucky fans have been thinking all offseason, which is that this team can compete with any team in college basketball.

Duke fans already weren’t big fans of Kerr Kriisa after his comments about Cooper Flagg leading up to this game. It looks like some Duke fans decided to make fun of Kriisa’s mustache during the game. After the win, Kriisa told The Field Of 68, “I had these Duke people talking crazy to me about my stache all game. When I went to talk after the game, they left. If you’re the Duke fan, that was on the right side the stache did the work.”

Kriisa becomes a fan favorite in Lexington because he is the team’s biggest trash talker. The veteran guard scored six points in the win and had a number of big threes throughout the game, including a key shot from deep in crunch time.

Kriisa seems to be the emotional leader of this team as he always sets his teammates on fire. Lamont Butler is the leader of this team, but Kriisa is the guy who will always keep the team excited for a game.

This win was huge for Kentucky as it proved that the Wildcats are one of the best teams in college basketball.
