14-year-old cyclist killed in crash in Prescott Valley

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ – A teenage cyclist was killed in a crash in Prescott Valley Tuesday evening.

Prescott Valley Police say the crash happened along Viewpoint Drive on Tuesday around 5:20 p.m.

A 14-year-old boy was reportedly riding his bike when he was hit by a car.

The teenage victim was flown to a hospital in Phoenix, where he died from his injuries. He has not yet been named by officials.

According to police, the driver of the car has been arrested and the investigation continues.
