Man accused of multiple sex crimes found guilty

CARROLLTON, Ky. (WAVE) – A jury has convicted a Carroll County man of multiple charges of rape and sexual abuse over a 10-year period.

Terry Glacken, 50, was found guilty on November 8, 2024 of the following charges:

Sodomy in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
Rape in the first degree, forcible compulsion
Rape in the first degree, forcible compulsion
Incest
Sexual abuse in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
Rape in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
Sexual abuse in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
Sexual abuse in the first degree
Sexual abuse in the first degree

Kentucky State Police say they began investigating Glacken in June 2021 after a female victim reported she had been sexually abused over a 10-year period. The young woman said the abuse started when she was a minor.

According to KSP, the investigation led to the discovery of two more victims of sexual abuse. Glacken was indicted by a grand jury in November 2021.

Glacken remains in the Carroll County Detention Center. Formal sentencing will take place in January 2025.
