Man accused of multiple sex crimes found guilty

CARROLLTON, Ky. (WAVE) – A jury has convicted a Carroll County man of multiple charges of rape and sexual abuse over a 10-year period.

Terry Glacken, 50, was found guilty on November 8, 2024 of the following charges:

  • Sodomy in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
  • Rape in the first degree, forcible compulsion
  • Rape in the first degree, forcible compulsion
  • Incest
  • Sexual abuse in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
  • Rape in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
  • Sexual abuse in the first degree, victim under 12 years old
  • Sexual abuse in the first degree
  • Sexual abuse in the first degree

Kentucky State Police say they began investigating Glacken in June 2021 after a female victim reported she had been sexually abused over a 10-year period. The young woman said the abuse started when she was a minor.

According to KSP, the investigation led to the discovery of two more victims of sexual abuse. Glacken was indicted by a grand jury in November 2021.

Glacken remains in the Carroll County Detention Center. Formal sentencing will take place in January 2025.
