Lake Katrine man accused of raping 15-year-old girl

TOWN OF ULSTER – A Lake Katrine man has been accused multiple times of raping a 15-year-old girl.

City of Ulster police said Wednesday that they received a complaint last Thursday that Tito E. Nunez-Hernandez, 32, of Lake Katrine, engaged in sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl.

Following an investigation by detectives, Nunez-Hernandez was located and taken into custody without incident on Tuesday.

Nunez-Hernandez was charged with six counts of third-degree rape, a misdemeanor.

He was arraigned in Ulster County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and booked into the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 surety, pending a future court appearance.

The name of his attorney was not immediately available.

The Ulster Police Department was assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s office and the City of Kingston Police.
