Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo say their coordinating ‘bad’ looks are coincidental

Ariana Grande And Cynthia Erivo take the red carpet by storm with them Bad-inspired looks ahead to the musical film’s release later this month.

However, if you thought all that coordination required painstaking calculations, think again.

In an interview with content creator @aichark released on November 7, Grande, 31, and Erivo, 37, revealed that many of their complementary ensembles, inspired by their characters Glinda and Elphaba, weren’t actually planned in advance — the stars are just that in sync. And it has been that way since ‘day one’.

“On our first day of rehearsal we are both wearing Balenciaga hoodies. Mine was pink and said ‘gay’ and hers was black and said ‘Balenciaga,'” Grande revealed.

The actresses – they have that too matching “For Good” tattoos – further revealed that many of the outfits worn during their recent joint appearances were unorganized, including the time they both brought a little Oz to the Oscars ceremony 2024 on March 10 and thereafter at the 2024 Olympic Games on July 16.

“It was never actually planned. Are never planned. We just show up and that’s what happens,” Erivo said.

Grande couldn’t resist calling their sync “kismet.”
