Police are looking for witnesses to erratic driving on Dallas Road

Victoria Police are looking for witnesses or victims whose cars may have been damaged after a driver drove erratically on Dallas Road early Sunday.

Shortly after 3 a.m., officers received a report of an impaired driver in a black car at the intersection of Dallas Road and Wellington Avenue. Police said the driver struck several cars and traffic signs before crossing the road.

Officers located a suspect near Dallas Road and Douglas Street. The suspect initially ignored officers and resisted arrest before being taken into custody and transported to holding cells, police said.

The suspect was released on conditions and a notice to attend a future court hearing, VicPD said.
