Covenant Cafe meets November 19 | News, sports, jobs

LOCK HAVEN – The Covenant Cafe, an early-stage Alzheimer’s disease activity group, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.

David Bellomo, Community Health Educator at AmeriHealth, will present a talk on adult dental health to seniors. Following his presentation, Ron and Teresa Kodish, retired teachers, will provide a session of fun physical activities. Refreshments will be served.

The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between Covenant United Methodist’s Nurturing, Outreach and Worship Committee, the Alzheimer’s Support Group and the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants in this group have the opportunity to participate in socially and physically stimulating programs that help them stay as active as possible.
