Jimmy Kimmel Roasts ‘Crazy’ Trump for Shock Cabinet Picks

Jimmy Kimmel could not contain his surprise Wednesday evening at some of the choices newly elected President Donald Trump has made to lead his incoming administration.

After already announce a series of controversial cabinet appointments this week, Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he has appointed Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz to be his attorney general.

Gaetz was investigated in 2021 by the Department of Justice for alleged sex trafficking crimes involving a 17-year-old girl, but will soon head the DOJ if confirmed by Congress.

Gaetz denied the allegations and the DOJ dropped the charges against him in February 2023.

Kimmel responded about Gaetz’s new role: “You know, in many jobs, an investigation into sex trafficking of underage girls would hurt your chances for advancement. But in the Trump administration you can put it on your resume under ‘special skills.’

Kimmel also responded to Trump’s appointment Fox & Friends weekend co-host Piet Hegseth as Minister of Defense, who did that led to outrage from critics.
