A second year student attempted suicide at the government residential college in Mulugu-Telangana today

A second year secondary student of Bandarupalli Residential School in Mulugu Mandal attempted suicide by consuming pesticides on Thursday.

Mulugu: A second year secondary student of Bandarupalli Residential School in Mulugu Mandal attempted suicide by consuming pesticides on Thursday.

According to reports, a university staff saw the student consuming pesticides and snatched the bottle. He was immediately transferred to Mulugu Government Hospital where he is said to be in stable condition. Authorities informed his parents about the incident. The authorities claimed that the student, who was studying second year BIPC, was not performing well and therefore may have taken the extreme step.
