U.S. News & World Report today released its annual rankings for the Best primary and secondary schools in Ohio, and this year’s results are in.

Traditionally, U.S. News & World Report publishes a list of the best high schools and colleges in the country. The outlet first started publishing elementary and middle school rankings in 2021. Last year, Miller City Elementary School led the pack Ohio’s best elementary and middle schools.

How US News & World Reported arrived at their rankings

The methodology for the rankings analyzed the math and reading performance of schools at the state and district level, according to U.S. News & World Report. Of the 105,093 preschool, elementary and secondary schools, the outlet examined state assessments, among other things, and looked at students who were proficient or higher in these academic subjects.
