2 seriously injured in van rollover on SR 87 near Fort McDowell

FORT MCDOWELL, AZ (AZFamily) – Two people, including a child, were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash east of the Valley early Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened around noon in a southbound direction State Route 87 (Beeline Highway) at mile marker 202 near Fort McDowell.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a van rolled off the right side of the highway.

The crash seriously injured two people, including a child. Both were rushed to a Valley hospital.

DPS says SR 87 is closed while troopers investigate. Check back for updates.
