Man shot during robbery in downtown Edmonton

A man was taken to hospital after a shooting in downtown Edmonton on Thursday afternoon.

Stadium Mini Mart at 9361 107 A Ave. was closed just after 2:40 p.m

Police on the scene told CTV News Edmonton that shots had been fired during a robbery.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A woman is in custody while police also search for a male suspect, Edmonton police said.

The EPS Robbery Section is investigating.
