Bill O’Reilly praises Washington Examiner reporting: Oprah caught in ‘two-step’ lie about Harris campaign financing

Political commentator Bill O’Reilly featured the Washington Examiner reporting detailing how Vice President Kamala Harris north of raised $1 billion in campaign fundsincluding money paid to Oprah Winfrey’s production company that the Hollywood star initially denied.

“So the Washington Examiner on Friday, November 8, this story about how Oprah Winfrey’s production company gets paid $1 million by Kamala Harris’ campaign. $1 million, big money,” O’Reilly said up No Spin news show. “And you remember Oprah did some screenings, let’s call them, for Miss Harris. We confirmed that number is true, but Oprah denied it.”

Earlier this week, Oprah reportedly was confronted by TMZ and said the reports were untrue, stating that she “never got paid.”

O’Reilly noted that the $1 million in campaign money reportedly went to Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions in West Hollywood, California on October 15.

“And that’s how it always goes,” O’Reilly said. “So I have three companies. And a lot of the money that ultimately goes to the companies will one day come to me, but I don’t get paid directly. It just comes in.”

“So Oprah took a small step here and she finally had to admit it,” he continued.

Oprah reportedly explained that the money was used to pay those who worked on the productions, stating: “I have not taken any personal compensation. However, the people who worked on that production had to be paid and that was done. End of story.”

“It would have been the end of the story, Oprah, if you had told the truth beforehand,” O’Reilly said.
