Man hit by car in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs Police said a man was hit by a car at the intersection of Fountain Boulevard and Chelton Road on Thursday around 6:18 p.m.

CSPD said the driver remained at the scene.

The man was taken to a hospital. There has been no update on his condition as of 7:30 p.m.

The road was closed after the accident, but all lanes had reopened as of 7 p.m.

This car accident occurred in the same area where two minors were hit by a car on Monday evening.
