Suspect wanted for alleged sexual abuse of person he met at bar in Toronto's East End

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a person he met at a bar on the city’s east side last year.

Police said they received a call on December 8, 2023, of an assault near Danforth Avenue and Main Street.

Investigators learned that after meeting at a bar, the man and the victim returned to her home, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

More than eleven months later, on Thursday, police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Terry McKnight.

He is wanted on eight charges, including assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, threatening to kill and intimidating the legal entity.
