Third car hits property in Shropshire after collisions at pubs and churches

Another car has hit a property in Shropshire in an overnight traffic incident – the third in a week.

The accident took place in Pontesbury Shrewsbury

The fire brigade received a report of the crash around 11.40 pm and sent three fire engines.

A spokesperson said the incident involved “one private motor vehicle in a detached property”.

“Firefighters made the vehicle electrically safe and continued to use a thermal imaging camera to monitor temperatures,” the spokesperson added.

The incident follows a crash on Sunday in which a BMW plows into a building in Ketley in Telford.

On Monday one truck crashed into the Three Fishes Pub in Bayston HillShrewsbury.

And on Wednesday, Telford Baptist Church was damaged when a car crashed into the wall.

West Mercia Police have also been contacted for further details about the latest incident.
