Chief Operating Officer and co-owner Lauren Klair explained why Wolverhampton was one of the cities it moved to, alongside Liverpool and Manchester.

She said: “We were at the Astoria in June as part of a busy weekend at the Olympia in Liverpool and the Patti Pavilion in Swansea where we really tested the waters and saw what the landscape looked like because it had changed so much . since Covid.

“With the cost of living and everything else, it was about how people wanted to consume wrestling and how we could cater to that. What we found was that Astoria was a great show, with a really enthusiastic audience enjoying themselves.

“It was always our intention to come back and we decided to throw everything into the Astoria show on November 16 because it’s such a great crowd and we just wanted to give that product and bring it back to the quality of wrestling that Wolverhampton is used to.”

Ms Klair said the quality of talent on the show was due to the wrestlers who ran the show and the knowledge they had, as well as her experience working for TNA and running her own promotion.

She said: “We really wanted to unpack it and I think we did that because we have current All Elite Wrestling stars, TNA stars, newcomers and people who have been in the business for a long time.

“It comes from the heart and that’s where the name comes from as it was largely established by wrestlers and the name comes because it’s about the heart and soul of the company.

“Between the guys we have at the top and the owners, we have decades of experience and we want to do it right, not just come in and say this is how it should be done.

“We want it to be for everyone and we are building our own brand, developing our brand and helping to take the company as a whole to the next level because it benefits everyone.”

Doors for the Burning Heart Pro Wrestling show at the Astoria open at 6:00 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM.

Tickets for the show start at £33 for general admission and can be purchased from the Burning Heart ticket site.
