(NewsNation) – Adding fuel to Sean Combs’ bonfire of bad news, the now-incarcerated impresario was said to be “devastated” when he learned of Quincy Jones’ death from pancreatic cancer earlier this month.

Quincy Jones’ Cause Of Death Revealed: Reports

Combs was captivated by Jones throughout his career, and the men were close. Jones was one of the few to support Combs when the rapper was sent to jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Diddy’s adopted son, Quincy Brown (biological father Al B Sure), who Combs raised since he was three, was also named after Jones.

Diddy has been moved

Meanwhile, there’s semi-good news for Combs – the New York Post reports that Diddy has been transferred to the low-security “4 North unit of the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, a dormitory with about twenty inmates, looser rules than the general population and diversions for inmates, including air hockey.”

Another extra? The ladies.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sexual misconduct allegations, lawsuits: timeline

“There are grilles in one of the rooms at 4 North,” Gene Borrello, a former mob enforcer who spent time in the unit, told the Post. “They have small holes. If you lie down, you can look through the holes and talk to and see the women on the floor below.

What’s happened since Diddy was charged?

But Borrello warned that the females of 4 North are being tapped by the models, professional strippers and others who claimed to have been recruited by Diddy’s crew for the so-called “Freak Offs.” “They’re dirty,” he said of the women on the third floor. “Most of them are drug addicts.”
