A boy has been arrested after a man was threatened with a machete during a robbery in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Police said the man was also targeted and had his bike stolen during the incident in Prestwick Close in Strelley on Thursday evening.

According to police, it happened during an appointment to buy an electronic part for the man’s bicycle.

On Friday, a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft.

Det Sergeant Chris Mavers said: “The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

“That’s why we’re still very keen to speak to anyone else who may have witnessed it or who has information that could help us with our investigation.”
