The silent queen of luxury strikes again.

On Thursday, November 14 Sofia Richie Grainge brought her it-girl style to her performance at the Therapus podcast – and eagle-eyed fans spotted a particularly opulent accessory.

While chatting with host Jake Shane, Sofia, 26, opted for a simple yet chic outfit of jeans, a white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. However, her accessories were the real star of the show. In addition to some gold bracelets (and hair huge diamond engagement ring from husband Elliot Grainge of course), the model wore the Cartier crash watch.

Viewers on TikTok were quick to mention the high price tag of the timepiece, which is recognizable by its warped oval dial. Depending on the style, the Crash can cost up to $300,000. The design she’s wearing – with a brown leather strap and gold dial – likely costs between $200,000 and $250,000.

“Just casually wearing a house on her wrist. Icon,” one user wrote in the comments section of a clip from the episode.

“Sofia’s watch is so iconic,” wrote another.

A third wrote: “Ugh she’s wearing my dream watch”

Known for its signature “melted” face design, the Cartier Crash has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years thanks to celebrities like JAY Z, Tom Brady and Timothée Chalamet, per Sotheby’s.

“Cartier’s unique designs focus on the basics of form, playing with simple shapes such as the circle or the square and then bending, elongating or compressing them in a way that is highly refined,” reads an article on the auction house’s website. “For example, the asymmetry of the Cartier Crash almost looks like Cartier took an oval and crashed it completely.”

The post continues: “Legend has it that the idea for the Crash came about when a Cartier customer brought his damaged Cartier Baignoire to the London home after a car accident in 1967.”

Sotheby’s also points out that while the watch is reminiscent of Salvador Dali’s famous painting The Persistence of Memory, the design has no connection to the artwork.

While speaking to 25-year-old Shane, Sofia revealed that her five-month-old daughter, Eloise, already has his own mobile phone. “Eloise has a little baby monitor, where we can text, or I like to text,” the host said, adding, “I say, ‘Good morning, Eloise!'”

The new mother explained: ‘Whoever is with Eloise gets the phone. So at that moment Ali was with Eloise.’

Shane then shared how his most recent text exchange with Eloise’s phone went: “I said, ‘Eloise, do you mind if me and your mom talk on the podcast today about how perfect you are?’ And she said, ‘No, keep my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you.’”

“We had a conversation,” Sofia joked. Shane then joked: “Eloise has a bit of an attitude.”
