Ledyard police said they were conducting traffic enforcement on Route 2 when they observed a driver traveling at an “unreasonably slow speed” around 12:50 p.m. Friday.

While officers attempted to stop a motor vehicle, they said the driver yelled out his window, refused to stop and continued to drive into the Fox Tower parking garage of Foxwoods Casino.

With the assistance of Mashantucket Tribal Police, the driver was located at the casino and taken into custody.

They identified him as Bidwood.

He was taken to the Ledyard Police Department and charged with slow speed, failure to signal, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to stop for an officer, obstructing an officer and breach of the peace.

Bidwood was given a $7,500.00 cash bond and was scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Friday.
