Silent Hill 2 Remake now has a VR mod

We’ve all seen it Silent Hill 2 bloom over the years. Once Team Silent carefully crafted this incredible survival horror experience, players would end up playing the game endlessly for over a decade. It’s such a much-loved game that there was a lot of concern when Konami finally revealed that a remake was on the way. Now that it’s here, fans can breathe easy as it’s a pretty stunning game to play.

The Bloober team worked extra hard to ensure it met fans’ expectations at the time Silent Hill 2 was released. It’s a very well done game and I recommend playing it if you’re at all intrigued. However, if you have the game on PC and want to delve into it a bit more, this VR mod could be the solution. Thanks Video gamerToday we find out about a mod that can take you further into this nightmarish hell.

Praydog has released a VR mod for the game and it looks like you’ll want to try it out with caution. The gameplay offers fluid movement and the ability to use melee weapons accurately. Depending on where you swing, the melee weapon can carefully pinpoint an area on the enemy’s body. You get a little look at the mod in action from the X message embedded above.

We wish there was an official VR mode release for this game. But perhaps even the development studio didn’t want to bring this level of horror to players. Either way, those brave enough to take on the challenge can now do so with the mod. Meanwhile, the rest of us may be waiting for more information about what the next exciting Silent Hill term will offer.
