Chicago police are looking for driver in collision in West Englewood

Chicago police are asking for help identifying the driver of a white pickup truck involved in a collision that seriously injured a pedestrian. West Englewood neighbourhood.

The incident occurred on Nov. 13 at approximately 7:45 p.m. near the 5700 block of South Damen Ave. Police said a 63-year-old pedestrian was struck while crossing the street at a crosswalk.

The vehicle, described as a white two-door pickup with a high tailgate, a large black bed rack and unknown markings near the front fenders, was last seen traveling eastbound on West 57th Street. Unknown equipment was located in the bed of the truck.

The driver did not stop to help the victim or provide information about the crash, police said.
