Man who donated a Christmas tree to Rockefeller Center and took ‘baby steps’ in stroke recovery

The Berkshire County man who donated the Christmas tree for Rockefeller Center is taking “baby steps” in his recovery from a stroke, according to his family.

Earl Albert, of West Stockbridge, donated the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree this year. He is currently in hospital.

The family tells NewsChannel 13 he still plans to go to New York City for the tree lighting ceremony on December 4.

Earl’s family has asked for Christmas cards to cheer him up.
