Scottie Pippen’s son Justin provides assist in Michigan basketball debut

Michigan men’s basketball added a bunch of new pieces to the roster this season, including a freshman with a very recognizable last name in NBA circles.

Justin Pippen, son of legendary Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, made his Wolverines debut against Ann Arbor on Friday night and showed off his excellent court vision with a slick assist from teammate Roddy Gayle Jr. in the first half against TCU. Look below…

Pippen sat out Michigan’s first two games this season while recovering from an injury, but he put up some decent points for the Wolverines tonight. Being the son of an NBA legend obviously comes with high expectations, so it’s cool to see Justin get his feet wet and make an impact in his first collegiate action.
