Bethel man arrested for drunken driving after single-vehicle crash

Bethel, Vermont — A Bethel man was arrested Friday evening after Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Abbott Road in Bethel.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:34 p.m., when troopers arrived on scene and identified the driver as 44-year-old William Spinks.

Police said Spinks showed signs of impairment. Spinks was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

Spinks will appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on February 4, 2024 at 8:30 am.
