Car accident in Riley

RILEY, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) – Two people are pulled from an overturned vehicle during a serious car accident.

The crash occurred at Hwy 159 and Hwy 46 in Riley around 7:30 p.m., when the vehicle struck a utility pole. According to initial reports, smoke was coming from the car.

The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office says the occupants suffered neck and back pain. Police are investigating whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
