Missing 11-year-old Henderson County girl may have been spotted walking along Hwy 175

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – An Amber Alert was issued Friday for an 11-year-old girl believed to have been picked up by an unknown person, according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

Mia James was last seen wearing a teal hoodie with the words “venom” written in glitter and black shorts. She is described as 6 feet tall and 98 pounds.

Authorities said she left her home on CR 3925, just north of Athens, and was then picked up by an unknown person. Additionally, on Friday, November 15, Sheriff Botie Hillhouse reported that Mia was seen Thursday on Hwy 175 West, walking west toward Eustace. She was seen near Life Fellowship Church walking alone around 5:45 p.m.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating James. If you have any information about her location, call the sheriff’s office immediately at (903) 675-5128.
