Mable's restaurant opens in West Marin

Mablesa 100-seat restaurant serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine has opened in West Marin.

Managed by and located in the Staying with MarconiAccording to the Nov. 7 announcement, the restaurant will be led by chef Les Goodman.

Goodman, who brings more than 25 years of culinary experience to his role at Mable’s, is also a part-time chef instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College, according to the news release.

Before joining Mable’s, he was chef and CEO of Goodman’s Jewish Delicatessen in Santa Rosa.

Mable’s features a full bar and a 1,300-square-foot outdoor patio overlooking Tomales Bay, the announcement said.

The restaurant’s beverage program, in partnership with the Oakland-based distributor Revel wineswill feature a rotating selection of wines and cocktails, according to the release.

“Opening Mable’s has been a labor of love, and we are so proud to be part of this incredible West Marin community,” Goodman said in the announcement. “I am especially excited to introduce both locals and travelers to new flavors and unique dishes through this (Mediterranean) cuisine style.”

Mable’s is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Additional meal periods will be added early next year, according to the release. Reservations can be made via Tok.
