Last chance to take part in the exciting Sky High Adventure before it’s gone forever

Santa’s Sky High Adventure invites festive families and thrill seekers to jingle around the 36 high rope obstacles at NEC Birmingham to raise vital funds for seriously ill children.

The epic experience takes place on Saturday, December 7 at The Bear Grylls Adventure and includes 60 minutes on the high ropes and 30 minutes of flying along the zip line. It’s the perfect opportunity to visit this exciting and unique attraction before it closes for good.

Libby Bennett, events officer at Acorns Children’s Hospice, said: “Take fundraising to new festive heights with this exciting adventure of a lifetime as you dress up as Santa and take on our towering challenge.

“Not only will this give you a flying start to the festive season, you will also help us take fundraising to the next level for the vital care of children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and support for their families.”

Early bird tickets cost £20 for adults and £15 for children, who must be over eight years old to attend. Included is a Santa suit, a time slot assigned by Acorns, a fundraising package, a certificate and a medal. Registrations close on November 20, but places are limited and may sell out before this date.

Libby added: “At a whopping 20 meters high, this is the highest rope adventure course in Europe and rewards those brave enough to reach the top with breathtaking views and everlasting memories.

“Put on the Santa suit we’ll send you and you and your family can create your own Christmas adventure and have an incredible day out while raising lifeline money for Acorns. Help cannot wait for the children and families who need us more than ever at this time of year.

“This is your very last chance to visit the Bear Grylls attraction, just days before it closes for good, so make the most of this exciting activity before it’s gone forever.”

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and support for their families.

Over the past year the charity has cared for more than 780 children across the West Midlands and supported more than 1,000 families, including those who were bereaved.

This care and support is delivered from Acorn’s three hospices, based in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester, and in the community.

Acorns needs around £35,000 every day to care for its children in the hospice, with two-thirds of that amount coming from generous donations and fundraising by the local community.
