One injured in two-vehicle crash in Pokagon Township

CASS COUNTY, Ind. – Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reported a two-vehicle crash Friday at 12:29 p.m

The Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury crash near the intersection of M 51 and Pokagon Highway in Pokagon Township.

The investigation shows 75-year-old Patrick William Dvorak of South Bend was driving eastbound on Pokagon Highway before he failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of M 51.

The second vehicle, driven by 44-year-old David Ralph Gregory of South Bend, was traveling south on M 51 when it struck Dvorak’s vehicle.

Gregory was taken by ambulance to Corewell Niles Hospital for his injuries.

Drugs and alcohol did not play a role in the accident. The incident is still under investigation.
