Driver caught after fleeing car accident in Berlin

BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) – A driver was arrested in Berlin this morning after dodging a two-vehicle crash.

The Berlin Volunteer Fire Department responded south of Route 5 in the area of North Colony Rd. where they say the crash happened.

The two-vehicle crash left three victims with minor injuries, all of whom refused transportation to a local hospital.

One operator fled the scene and was later apprehended a short distance from the accident scene.

The area near North Colony Rd. was closed as first responders worked to clear the accident scene and tow every vehicle away.
